Body fitness is commonly understood if we examine its mechanism. In general terms the following are the basic steps to build a healthy body fitness program:
1. Cardio-respiratory endurance: the ability to deliver oxygen and nutrients to tissues, and to remove wastes, over sustained periods of time. Long runs and swims are among the methods employed in measuring this component.
2. Muscular Strength - the ability of a muscle to apply force for a short period of time. Chest strength, for example, can be precise by various weight-lifting exercises.
3. Muscular Endurance - the ability of a muscle, or a group of muscles, to sustain repeated contractions or to continue applying force against a fixed object. Pushups are often used to test endurance of arm and shoulder muscles.
4. Flexibility - the skill of moving joints and use muscles from end to end their. The sit-and-reach test is a good way of calculating flexibility in the lower back and backs of the superior legs. This is imperative for healthy body fitness as well.
5. Body composition is often measured as a component of body fitness. It refers to the structure of the body in terms of muscle, bone, vital tissue and organs and fat mass. An optimal relation of fat to lean mass is an indication of fitness, and the right types of exercise will help you diminish body fat and increase or retain muscle mass.
What you are trying to achieve will always depend on how often, how long and how hard you train, and what kinds of training you do.
These is directly related to your body fitness goals, your present fitness level, age, health, skills, interest and convenience are surrounded by the factors you should think about. For example, a training that is meant for high-level competition would follow a different program than a person whose goals are good health and the ability to meet work and recreational needs.
So, move away from your seat and get started with your body fitness plan!

I began an obsession with losing weight while I was still a teenager, but I made all of the wrong choices, first of all I had this though that all I had to do to start losing weight was to stop eating, bad idea, at first it worked wonderful, but what I didn’t know is that I was doing a great damage to my body, by this losing weight I was putting in danger my health and I came very close to losing my life along with my weight.
At first I didn’t pay any attention to my wrong doing, I only wanted to start losing weight as fast as I could, and not going to a nutritionist was my biggest mistake, because when you want to begin losing weight, the most important thing to do is to have an experts supervision, this will ensure you that you are losing weight the right way unlike me, I was doing something really stupid and now, at 25 am receiving the bill for all of the bad treatment I was giving to my body.
In that period I developed anorexia, and I almost died because of it, that’s why now I want people to know my story, I want to make sure that other young people know that anorexia is not a quick and easy way to losing weight, in fact it is more like the worst decision to take when all you want to do is to lose some weight. So take my advice, if you have some weight issues, see a doctor about it, get supervised, the doctor will know what is best for you, and this way, your diet wont become a problem in your future.

I am a chef at an Italian restaurant and food is my passion, my favorite things to eat are sausages, cheese, and pasta. Ever since I was a boy I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with my mother because I loved to cook. My doctor told me i am twenty pounds overweight and I must loose them to lower the risk of developing high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure. I visited a nutritionist who created several different diet plans especially for me.
I am not encouraged to diet because I will miss eating Italian sausage, parmesan cheese, and tagliatelle. The three diet plans which I was given restrict the ingestion of all of these products; instead I will have to eat fruits and vegetables and fish or chicken. As I am a chef, I have a harder time trying to follow a diet that other people because I constantly cook pasta dishes, prepare antipasto platters, and bake desserts which make my mouth water.
I intend to be disciplined and eat only what the diet plans permit and to fight the temptation to eat fatty, highly caloric foods. I want to loose twenty pounds because I believe I will look better and I will have more energy to work. I am confident that the diet plans will make me loose the extra weight if I follow them carefully. I have the support of my colleagues, who say that if I succeed with my diet plans, they will try it themselves.

I am an English teacher who works at a public elementary school. My students are ten-year-old boys and girls from different ethnicities and religions. I enjoy teaching because I enjoy the positive and fresh thoughts of children; everyday I am amazed at their capacity to receive information and to interpret it according to their beliefs. I make an effort to transmit to my student’s concepts and principles, which will help them live happier, peaceful lives. One of the concepts that I regularly comment on is food nutrition.
Even though proper food nutrition has a deep impact on the quality of life of a person and on his well being most parents never educate their children on how to eat a healthy, balanced diet. Kids are raised eating junk food such as chips, hot dogs, fries, candy bars and ice cream. They rarely eat vegetables, fruits, or lean meat because their parents don’t serve these foods at the dinner table; food nutrition at most of their homes consists of Mac Donald’s happy meals.
I encourage my students to try new flavors and ingredients; I often bring fruit salads, vegetable sandwiches, oatmeal cookies, and frozen yogurt to offer as free snacks during the lunch break. Most of the children that have eaten these snacks love their taste and wish their parents would offer them something similar at home. Proper food nutrition leads to healthier, happier children because it stabilizes their energy levels and prevents the energy peaks and lows which lead to hyperactivity followed by extreme fatigue.
