Diet plans of a chef
I am a chef at an Italian restaurant and food is my passion, my favorite things to eat are sausages, cheese, and pasta. Ever since I was a boy I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with my mother because I loved to cook. My doctor told me i am twenty pounds overweight and I must loose them to lower the risk of developing high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure. I visited a nutritionist who created several different diet plans especially for me.
I am not encouraged to diet because I will miss eating Italian sausage, parmesan cheese, and tagliatelle. The three diet plans which I was given restrict the ingestion of all of these products; instead I will have to eat fruits and vegetables and fish or chicken. As I am a chef, I have a harder time trying to follow a diet that other people because I constantly cook pasta dishes, prepare antipasto platters, and bake desserts which make my mouth water.
I intend to be disciplined and eat only what the diet plans permit and to fight the temptation to eat fatty, highly caloric foods. I want to loose twenty pounds because I believe I will look better and I will have more energy to work. I am confident that the diet plans will make me loose the extra weight if I follow them carefully. I have the support of my colleagues, who say that if I succeed with my diet plans, they will try it themselves.
